Arts of Change ist ein Förderprogramm für Musik- und Kunststudierende. Seit sechs Jahren ist es eine Plattform, die verschiedene Disziplinen aus Kunst und Wissenschaft zusammenbringt, mit dem Ziel, kreative Wege zu finden, um Themenkomplexe rund um Nachhaltigkeit zu beleuchten.
Zum Jahresthema „Narrative und lebenswerte Zukünfte" haben die Teilnehmer:innen in Kleingruppen konkrete Projektinitiativen ausgearbeitet. Über einen Zeitraum von neun Monaten hinweg haben wir gemeinsam Räume gestaltet, viel Zeit miteinander verbracht und dabei Kunstprojekte geschaffen, die wir als bedeutungsvoll empfinden. Die Grundstruktur des Programms soll die teilnehmenden Künstler:innen motivieren, gemeinsame Themen, Interessengebiete und Medien für eine gelingende Zusammenarbeit zu finden.
Diese Ausstellung ist das Ergebnis gemeinsamer Forschungs-, Experimentier- und Kommunikations-Anliegen von 23 Teilnehmer:innen in fünf Arbeitsgruppen mit Beiträgen von Alumni und Wissenschaftler:innen.

Arts of Change is a coaching programme for music and art students. For six years, it has been a platform for bringing together various disciplines from arts and science with the goal of finding creative ways to explore the topic of sustainability.
Following the theme of scenarios for a liveable future, participants worked on specific projects insmall groups. Over a period of nine months, we took care of shared spaces, spent time together and created meaningful art projects. The structure of the programme gives participating artists the motivation to find common topics, fields of interest and media.
This exhibition represents the result of joint research, experimentation and communication efforts of 23 participants in five working groups, with contributions by alumni and scientists.

Her show Outlier (with band Jakabol) was described as “warmly performed, autobiographical gig-theatre” exploring friendship, isolation & addiction in rural England. Author of Requite (2017) & Thalassic (2020). Her practice spans theatre, radio, film & mentoring.

Digital Blackface*, memetischer Faschismus und Geschlecht
Katrin Köppert spricht zum Verhältnis von Digital Blackface und Geschlecht in der memetischen Medienkultur des digitalen Faschismus. In den partiellen Öffentlichkeiten des Internets kristallisieren sich Mikrofaschismen** als memetische Kleinstdramen heraus, die kein großes Metanarrativ brauchen, um ihre rassistischen, sexistischen und weltzerstörenden Mini-Tribunale aufzuführen. Mikrologische Onlinekulturen, die ebenso aneignend wie bastelnd mit Diskursen, Rhetoriken und Stilen umgehen, sind dabei Labore für neue Faschismen.
Anti-Gender und Digitale Autoritarismen
Die Vortragsreihe befasst sich im Studienjahr 2025/26 mit geschlechterfeindlicher Politik in Kunst, Kultur und Gesellschaft im digitalen Raum. Sie gibt Einblicke, wie reaktionäre Akteure Konzepte von Gleichheit, Gerechtigkeit und sexuellen/reproduktiven Rechten bedrängen, insbesondere in und durch digitale Medien. Darüber hinaus werden künstlerische Praktiken und gesellschaftliche Allianzen beleuchtet, die diese Mediennarrative stören und Gegennarrative zu den antiliberalen, autoritären, diskriminierenden, rassistischen und extremistischen Ideologien generieren.
